Las Vegas Vacation

So with buying our house from Trav's mom, my new job, and working on the basement. I needed a vacation. Travis concurred and we went to Veagas. We left on Friday the 20th after taking Austin to school. My mom said she would watch the boys for us, so it was just the two of us (yay). We stopped in St. George and did some shopping. We picked out some things for the boys and of course a cute little outfit for baby gray to come. I have to say I'm sure this is not the Vegas vacation Travis had in mind but he was so nice. We went shopping, shopping, and more shopping with a little time at the pool as well. I guess he can't complain too much, he came home with a new wardrobe!!! And we did get a picture with some scantly clad women. That is the cast from Sirens of T.I. My favorite part of our trip was going to see Jay Leno, we even got to meet him. It was a late night though, the show didn't start until 10 and got over just before midnight. The walk from the Mirage to the Westin where we were staying was very long for a very tired, very preggo me. It was our first Vegas show and I think it was definitely worth it. We came home on Monday and went right back into the daily grind. Travis started again on the basement that night and we both started work the next day. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, and definitely needed!!

THE BASEMENT

We are making progress on the basement. Travis has finished all the framing with help from dad's, brothers, brothers- in-law, friends, and the young men. Thanks to everyone who came and helped out. We have almost finished the electrical we just need to add a few more outlets. Travis has impressed me once again with all his knowledge, and his ability to call someone if he has no idea what he's doing! We just have to do the heating/cooling and the plumbing before our first inspection. The boys have been our constant little helpers. Every night that dad is downstairs they grab their tools to go help. They can't wait to have their new toy room finished and neither can I. Once we move it downstairs I can start decorating the baby's room.
